I have written about the CMMI a number of times. I have always believed that there should have been a level zero -- a step below ad-hoc and chaotic where the nastiest of the nasty occurs. Capt. Thomas M. Schorsch has gone that extra step and defined a Capability ImMaturity Model (CIMM). The additional levels that he has added are characterized by: 0. Negligent (Indifference)
-1. Obstructive (Counter Productive)
-2. Contemptuous (Arrogance)
-3. Undermining (Sabotage)
