This is off topic but I thought it to be a good noodler.

Wouldn't it be ironic if all of the UFO's and "alien landings" were time traveling humans from the future? The reasons for abductions were that we wanted to see the genetic makeup of early humans and determine any illnesses that they may have had. "Flying saucers" are used in the future since we're obsessed with them now. In other words, it's logical to assume that we would produce a time machine in the shape of a flying saucer since we are so interested in flying saucers now. The grandfather paradox is incorporated since history already has recorded such events.

I should point out that I am not the first to have this thought.
