At first glace, Code Views looks no different than any other UML designer.

At its core, Code Views is a visual designer. Instead of starting off with a blank text file, development begins with a blank canvas. In a traditional UML designer the code associated with each member a viewed and edited in a separate text-based code editor. This is where Code Views blazes a new trail.

Code Views provides a full-featured structured editing environment directly within the UML diagram. The code for any member can be viewed and edited directly within the context of a UML class diagram. Gone are the days of viewing a UML diagram in one window, editing the source text in another and hoping that the designer can synchronize the two.
